Construction of equipment for loading the sample on a universal testing machine
Ševčík, Ondřej ; Houfek, Martin (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis focusess on the construction of equipment for loading a sample onto a uni-versal testing machine. The designs came from analysing existing designs. The best pro-posal was then designed using SolidWorks. The product was then subjected to a MKP analysis, which examined the behavior of the loaded product together with the procures-braised model sample. Finally, all of the drawings were documented to prepare for pro-duction.

Compensatory exercises for cyclists of older school age
Bartizalová, Denisa ; Jandová, Soňa (advisor) ; Panská, Šárka (referee)
This work deals with compensatory exercises for cyclists of older school age, which were compiled into methodological material. To verify the functionality of this methodological material in practice, 12 cyclists of older school age were selected, for whom it was necessary to determine the condition of the movement system in advance using diagnostic tests according to Janda. The cyclists were divided into 2 groups of 6 - experimental group and control group, where the experimental group had the task of training according to the methodological material. The subsequent second testing served as an indicator of the difference in the movement system of cyclists after the use of methodological material of compensatory exercises. The theoretical part of the work is therefore focused mainly on the description of muscle groups involved in cycling and in connection with that description of the stereotypes of the movemnt system that affect cyclists and its diagnosis. The results of diagnostic tests of the experimental and control groups have shown that movement stereotypes are already evident in older school age cyclists. This was subsequently confirmed by a statistical analysis of effect size for both groups. The analysis after the second testing showed a very large effect size in the experimental group,...
Use of selected concepts for active release of myofascial tissue

bakalářské práce AJ Author: Barbora Chaloupková Tutor: Bc. Monika Tichá Title: Use of selected concepts for active release of myofascial tissue Abstract: The theoretical part of the work first describes the morphology and physiology of fascial tissue, briefly describes the muscle tissue. Furthermore there are introduced and desribed selected concepts affecting myofascial tissues of the musculoskeletal system, which use the active participation of the patient in therapy. The theoretical part of the work includes the concept of Fascial release technique, the concept of Fascial fitness and methods of myofascial autotherapy. The practical part of the bachelor thesis evaluates the concept of Fascial release technique during physiotherapeutic intervention in two patients with pain in the dorsal part of the lower limbs of functional origin. The concept of Fascial release technique was evaluated according to the data from the input and output kinesiological analysis of the treated patients, subjectively evaluated by the patients through questionnaires and from the perspective of the therapist. By both patients, their difficulties in the monitored segments of the musculoskeletal system were alleviated. Active patient participation in therapy reduces the physical demands of myofascial therapies for the...
Exemption from physical education in a secondary school
Zálešák, Daniel ; Kotlík, Kamil (advisor) ; Vařeková, Jitka (referee)
Title: Exemption from physical education in a secondary school Objectives: The main goal of the thesis is to examine the extent and also main reasons for partial and full exemption of pupils from physical education in a secondary school. That will be reached per analyzing results from survey whose participants will be headmasters from Prague grammar schools. There will be also explained how lessons absence of pupils is compensated and how the schools solve final classification. Methods: For obtaining data, the electronic questionnaire examining the topic of exemption from physical education was made. The questionnaire was sent to fill to competent persons at Prague grammar schools. Their answers were then organized and analyzed for final results. Results: Every monitored school had at least one student partly exempted from physical education. Only one school had not a single student fully exempted. Compared with Czech School Inspection data from 2016 the average numbers of exempted students were lower. Ratio of girl and boys was almost equable. The most frequent medical cause for exemption was weakening of muscular- skeletal system, from nonmedical causes it was sport aktivity out of school. In most cases there is no compensation for absence in lessons. Partly exempted students were mostly...
Růstová odezva dřevin středoevropského temperátního lesa na disturbanční událost =: The growth response of Central European temperate forest trees to disturbance events /
Vašíčková, Ivana
The growth response of trees to disturbance events in 8 beech-dominated natural forests in Czech Republic was studied using standard tree-ring analysis. With the use of circa 2 000 increment cores a disturbance regime of Žofín old-growth forest was reconstructed. The results indicate not only disturbance intensity, but also their spatial characteristics determine the effect of disturbance on further forest ecosystem development. As the picture of past disturbances had not emerged to be sufficient enough to describe a historical forest development, recognizing the statistical error of their reconstructions was of great importance. Thus, the following studies focused on quantification of uncertainty in detecting the disturbance history using dendrochronology. Uncertainty in determination of summary disturbance history within the whole stand as well as disturbance spatial patterns were evaluated. The results uncovered that the specific character of dendrochronological data, i.e. the different reactions of individual trees to the identical disturbance event, was a significant source of this uncertainty. The follow-up study logically concerned on examination the true response of Fagus sylvatica to disturbances, dated by independent dendrometric and photogrammetric datasets. On the basis of analysis of nearly 300 tree responses, new empirically-derived criteria for dendrochronological determination of tree growth response were suggested. Finally, factors controlling growth response of Fagus sylvatica to disturbance events were addressed. Regression analysis determined complex of diverse factors of different spatial levels driving the growth reaction following canopy opening.
Tloušťkový přírůst výstavkových dubů ve středním lese
Kollanda, Viktor
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the diameter increment of sessile oak standards in a coppice-with-standards as related to release degree, site quality and age of the stands. We also tried to asses differences in diameter increment possibly induced by the above mentioned factors. Data processing and all analyses were done in MS Excel software. As a result, grafhical and tabellar presentation of differences between diameter incerements of partucular variants including the response of trees to release degree and combinations of other factor are shown. Statistical tests have shown that the diameter incerement of standards was related to investigated factors. Trees increased theit diameters on plots where release was done, but there were no significant differences between different release variants. Also, effect of age was also significant. On the other hand, there were no significant differences between increments on different edaphic cathegories.
Remnant of forest at the transition from Late Glacial period to Holocene: dendroecological and palaeobotanical reconstruction
Moravcová, Alice ; Šamonil, Pavel (advisor) ; Rybníček, Michal (referee)
The remains from a sub-fossil pine forest burried in layers of peat deposits at the northern edge of the CHKO Křivoklátsko in the Central Bohemia is completely unique findings for the area of the Czech Republic. It offers new opportunities for palaeoenvironmental reconstruction and related climate changes during the Late Glacial and early Holocene epoch. The methods of dendrochronology and radiocarbon dating were used to date subfossil trees. The results of radiocarbon dating determined the existence of the forest in the period approximately 12,000 to 10,300 cal yr BP. The dendrochronological analyses revealed two continuous floating chronologies. The chronology RD4, which is long 200 years, originates from the Younger Dryas. The chronology RD6, 300 years long, originates from the Preboreal. The growth dynamics of the forest were reconstructed on the basis of the tree- ring analysis. Hydrological regime has been identified as a major disturbancy factor that influenced the growth of trees. This has been evident from synchronous phase depressions in the growth of synchronized tree-ring series. The high water table was the main cause of their extinction. This was in concordance with the results of macrofossils analyses. The effect of hydrological regime was largely influenced by microsite differences...
